. . . Quite literally. Whitman Display has been adopted as a headline typeface in several North American newspapers during the past few years. The initial styles were commissioned by the Minneapolis Star Tribune and the Tacoma News Tribune in 2004. The Idaho Statesman and the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal are now also using the fonts.
The Whitman Display family has recently been updated and expanded to seven weights in three widths and is now available for retail license from the Font Bureau.
